Exciting times

Maggy is relaunching her company Think Differently in January by rebranding and updating her website and other marketing materials. She is an experienced counsellor, psychotherapist and trainer. She is relaunching her brand in January 2018 after retiring from the NHS. Last year she did the Race for Life in Clumber park in memory of a friend, raising £750. Her relaunch event is called Beating the Winter Blues – with all profit going to Cancer Research UK in the hope her target fundraising will reach £1000!

Maggy worked as a Staff Counsellor, Psychotherapist and trainer in Forensic Services and Primary Care as well as in prisons. Her experience is now available to all companies and individuals from her private practice. Her sessions are available online, via Zoom, 1-1 in her office or at your premises.

She is also an EMDR therapist offering work to combat the effects of trauma. Her services can help people recently exposed to a trauma such as a Road Traffic Accident or assault or can help with intrusive memories from previous life events such as abuse, domestic violence or bereavement.

Her skills include Solution Focussed Brief therapy and Mindfulness as well as EMDR. She offers customised training sessions for groups and has a range of courses for organisations that can be delivered at your premises or an external venue. She has a range of qualifications including a PG Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Studies, a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and a qualification in EMDR.She is a registered member of BACP and EMDR UK .Her work is under the code of ethics of both these professional organisations. Her service has public liability insurance and you are safe in her hands.

Yorkshire born and bred, Maggy is excited by the relaunch as it will allow her to offer her services to a wider range of organisations and individuals throughout South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire.  She looks forward to 2018 as a year when she can consolidate existing links and form new ones.
