Its been a busy few months….
The newly revamped website went live courtesy of Neil and his team from Upbeat Design, who did a wonderful job.
I changed with my invoicing system to Quickbooks thanks to Sir Dan of D&K Accounting who helped me so much.
A great relaunch event was held at The Well in Retford. Lots of prizes were donated and £200 raised for Cancer Research UK. Grateful thanks to all who came and supported me .
Also my first online course began: an 8 week Mindfulness with Maggy. 22 people signed up. A good opportunity to learn Mindfulness practices and for me to master Facebook Live broadcasts – certainly the way forward. Check out further online courses – all listed on my website www.thinkdifferently.org.uk . Learn from the comfort of your home or office and at your leisure as the broadcasts are saved for catch up later if the time does not suit your schedule.
A revamp of my office took place to make it more comfortable for clients who visit my premises. So nice to de-clutter and find things I thought had disappeared forever. A lot of recycling but also filing- not my strong point. Now I know where everything is! Feedback is that the therapy space is welcoming and comfortable, and the waiting area is a great place for people to wait whilst clients have sessions.
I also started regular posts to my website under the section From Maggy to You. This month I talked about Love Actually and International Women’s Day. It is important we take care of ourselves, not just loved ones.
International Women’s day on 8 March is an ideal time for you to look at self confidence and self esteem. Why not enrol on the Renew You course – a brilliant one day event which gives women as chance to look at some personal development in a friendly relaxed environment. Very worthwhile if you are starting out in business or your personal journey of self knowledge. Lunch and a journal are included so you can carry on the work once the day is over. The first day is on 8th March in Retford but I can also run this course for you or your organisation. Please look at the events section on the website or contact me if you have any requirements.
Also running this month is How to develop resilience with Maggy – another fabulous online course which gives tips and strategies to help you bounce back. Just one day with takeaway exercises and audits – what’s not to like?
I have also been busy sorting out a system to keep in touch with everyone through Mailchimp which is fully GDPR compliant, so you can opt in to emails from me and keep in touch by email. Thanks to my Virtual Admin, Stella – who sorted the techie bits because I am a techno-dinosaur!
The year is flying by – so much development, but there is so much to follow. Please sign up for further editions of news From Maggy to You – so you don’t miss out. Now is the time to ThinkDifferently
